Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Piling Operations ‐ Piling Rig Operator NVQ

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Piling Operations ‐ Piling Rig Operator provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise as a piling operator to demonstrate their competence. The units in this qualification are derived from National Occupational Standards

    Work safely at all times when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery., Know how to comply with relevant health and safety legislation and official guidance when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery., Follow the relevant maintenance schedules for the required work when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery., Carry out checks and/or basic maintenance activities within the limits of their personal authority in the specified sequence and agreed time scale., Report any instances where the maintenance activities cannot be fully met or where there are identified defects outside the planned schedule when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery., Complete relevant maintenance records accurately and pass them on to the appropriate person when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery., Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safe working practices and approved procedures when carrying out checks and/or basic maintenance on plant or machinery.
