L3 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems – Dry Lining

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems – Dry Lining qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in Interior Systems – Dry Lining within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification supports the Learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Although part of an apprenticeship, this qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship where either the learner’s circumstances prevent them undertaking a full apprenticeship or where their prior skills and knowledge mean they do not require all components of the apprenticeship. In addition, industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.

The Rule of Combination (RoC) below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification.

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 59 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 5 mandatory units.

L3 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems – Complex Suspended Ceiling Fixing Systems

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems – Ceiling Fixing qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in Interior Systems – Ceiling Fixing within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification enables the learner to attain enabling fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. This qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship as the industry deems it necessary and that not all of elements within the Apprenticeship are required.

The Rule of Combination (RoC) below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification.

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 78 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 6 mandatory units.

L3 NVQ Erecting Engineering Construction Capital Plant Steel Structures

Preparing structural steel loads, platework assemblies, pipework assemblies and pre-formed platework loads for moving; lifting, moving and handling structural steel sections using a range of equipment (manual and automated); erecting/dismantling of structural steel sections, checking the installation of steel structures against specifications; preparing work areas, materials and equipment for steel erecting activities; determining technical and resource requirements to achieve objectives; health & safety in relation to all erecting activities.

Achievement of this qualification will provide opportunities to progress to further qualifications at Level 3 in Management. As part of lifelong learning ECITB encourages learner progression. This qualification offers employment opportunities as individuals are demonstrating occupational competence by qualification achievement. L3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in construction plant or machinery maintenance within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification supports the Learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Although part of an apprenticeship, this qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship where either the learner’s circumstances prevent them undertaking a full apprenticeship or where their prior skills and knowledge mean they do not require all components of the apprenticeship. In addition, industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 167 credits need to be attained. This comprises of 110 credits from the Mandatory Group, plus 57 credits from the Optional Group.

L3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering – Solid

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering – Solid qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work as a Solid Plasterer within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification supports the Learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Although part of an apprenticeship, this qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship where either the learner’s circumstances prevent them undertaking a full apprenticeship or where their prior skills and knowledge mean they do not require all components of the apprenticeship. In addition, industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.

L3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering – Fibrous

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering – Fibrous qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work as a Fibrous Plasterer within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification enables the learner to attain enabling fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. This qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship as the industry deems it necessary and that not all of elements within the Apprenticeship are required.

The Rule of Combination (RoC) below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification.

To achieve this qualification a minimum of 139 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 9 mandatory units.

L3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations

The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work as a bricklayer or blocklayer within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.

This qualification supports the Learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Although part of an apprenticeship, this qualification is available outside of an apprenticeship where either the learner’s circumstances prevent them undertaking a full apprenticeship or where their prior skills and knowledge mean they do not require all components of the apprenticeship. In addition, industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.
