About this course

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations ‐ Specialised Cladding and Rainscreen Systems provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in specialised cladding and rainscreen systems to demonstrate their competence. The units in this qualification are derived from National Occupational Standards.

Rules of Combination (ROC) Requirements 

The L2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding and Rainscreen Systems requires you to select and achieve units across the optional groups which are available. You can select units across these groups, based on an overall rule which ensures you meet the minimum credit value for the qualification. To achieve this qualification a minimum of 68 credits need to be attained by completing all 3 mandatory units, plus the required optional units from optional unit Groups A and B. When selecting optional units you must choose 3 units from the Optional unit Groups A and/or B, only one unit can be selected from Group B, achieving the minimum total of 58 credits.

The Rule of Combination (RoC) below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification.

  • Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

  • Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
