Overseeing the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as powered scissor lifts and trailer-mounted booms requires an awareness of planning procedures, safe operation processes and the importance of risk assessment. This course is ideal for managers and supervisors to learn about their responsibilities in providing a safe working environment for MEWP operatives.

Who this course is for
This course is designed for managers or supervisors that use or are responsible for overseeing the use of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), including powered scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, self-propelled boom lifts and trailer mount booms.
This course is delivered through a combination of theoretical and practical teaching methods.
This course can be delivered on your premises or at a location suitable to you.
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will be awarded an IPAF Certificate of Competency. This is valid for 5 years.
