Cartridge tools can be dangerous if not handled correctly. This programme is designed to develop delegates’ understanding of their correct usage, hazards and safety precautions.
This course is aimed at providing delegates with a thorough understanding of the hazards associated with the use of cartridge tools and to enable them to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (P.U.W.E.R).
Individual assessment takes place during the course along with a final assessment paper.
Courses are available at training centres nationwide. This course can also be delivered on your premises subject to minimum delegate numbers and suitability of the venue. Please contact us for information.
Construction Skills People certificate or NPORS Card/Certificate.
If National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) accreditation is required delegates must provide a passport photograph at the start of the course. NPORS registration is £35.00 per person.
Delegate Eligibility / Entry Requirements
It is important that all candidates who attend this course have a good understanding of spoken and written English. An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential. Safety boots must be worn for the practical exercises.
