Sales Manager

Description


The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the monthly performance targets including the efficient and effective analysis, coordination, and reporting of companies within the CRM system.

The purpose of the role is to provide day to day management of the Sales business function aligned to our performance and CRM, including KPI reporting, managing a database of customer contacts and communications, transferring data and making sure the system is robust and all required users are trained and using this appropriately to enable effective and timely decisions to be taken.

Duties


Responsible for the monthly performance targets across the sales functions to enable visibility and conversions to be maximised.

Responsible for closing out all open opportunities with the sales functions within a timely manner.

Responsible for maintaining the Workbooks CRM system including updates, enhancements, building reports, managing dashboards, workflows and security.

Create and develop meaningful data and reporting to enable visibility on performance and position in all aspects relevant to the business.

To write and create reports through existing software (WorkBooks), to meet the changing needs of the business.

To analyse data, undertake audits to enable visibility of performance at a local and business level.

To address any non-complaint actions within 48 hours, direction to all end users.

Undertake frequent data cleansing to ensure the group is protected in line with funding & GDPR requirements.

To develop, keep updated relevant guidance aligned to administrative requirements of the CRM.

To manage the reporting of KPIs in relation to daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.

To work in conjunction with the Sales functions to ensure reporting is robust, available, and delivered within a timely manner.

To provide CPD and working practice with the users and stakeholders, ensuring processes are aligned to the knowledge, skills and development needed for users.

Utilise automated platforms (Workbooks and PICs to bring efficiencies across reporting).

To work into the Sales directors to ensure performance and data is accurately reported against agreed budgeted targets.

To work with colleagues to consistently improve internal practices, procedures, and procedures to provide an efficient and effective service.

To always represent the company in a professional manner.

Any other duties as deemed necessary by the line manager.

Skills


Sales Management experience within a training environment

Experience and knowledge of governed funded training

Previous experience of CRM management

Previous experience of data analysis and report writing

Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail

Able to follow processes.

Enthusiasm in the workplace

Work well under pressure.

Qualifications


  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and maths or equivalent
