The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) is responsible for ensuring quality of delivery by maintaining consistent assessment decisions which are delivered in line with Awarding Bodies requirements.

The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) is responsible for ensuring quality of delivery by maintaining consistent assessment decisions which are delivered in line with Awarding Bodies requirements.

The IQA will work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop programmes, maintaining and improving OFSTED grade, quality certifications and direct claim status. As an IQA you will maintain the company IQA approach and sampling strategy/rationales as set for the delivery team

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Marketing Executive to join our existing team.

Duties


  • To support the strategic overview and implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement
  • To support learning systems and processes to implement effective teaching & learning practices
  • Internally verify qualifications accurately and timely
  • Maintain high accurate and reliable internal verification and quality monitoring records
  • Undertake observations of tutors in line with the Company observation schedule, feedback to support and develop individuals
  • To support continuous improvement for quality assurance with a focus on outstanding experiences for staff and learners
  • Work closely with the Group Programme Manager in reviewing, designing and implementing delivery models to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of the sector
  • Further develop resources used by the delivery team
  • Develop and demonstrate best practice in learning, teaching and assessment assuring standardisation and continuity
  • Where necessary liaise with the Awarding Organisations
  • Support and take lead as required in external visits for awarding organisations, primes and other affiliations
  • To contribute towards the self-assessment and quality improvement process
  • Follow up and ensure the learner journey records such as ILPs and progress reviews are used effectively by the delivery team. Feedback and development initiated as required.
  • Take ownership of courses ensuring quality provision throughout the whole learner journey
  • Ensuring Learner Support is recognised at the earliest opportunity and learners are effectively supported throughout the learning aim
  • Ensure effective safeguarding arrangements are in place
  • Ensure that company KPI’s are met and agreed with your line manager
  • Ensure all quality processes are in line with current Ofsted requirements
  • Work on Ad hoc projects as requested by the company

Skills


  • Demonstrable experience of delivering remote and blended training and support.
  • Demonstrable experience of IQA responsibility of the same.
  • Experience of working with online resource companies to procure and develop resources.
  • Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to listen/observe/acknowledge and feedback
  • Meet internal and external deadlines on a regular basis
  • Work independently with a high level of initiative and motivation
  • Excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in supporting unemployed into employment
  • Work well under pressure
  • Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving license is essential
  • Flexible approach to travel
  • Competent computer literacy with all major Microsoft Office packages

Qualifications


  • Assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA)
  • Verifier qualification (V1 or equivalent)
  • Literacy & Numeracy qualifications (at Level 2 or above)
  • A recognised QTS teaching qualification as a minimum

Other Information


  • You will report to the Head of Quality & Performance
  • You will be based at remotely but travel is expected to the Nottingham and Sheffield Skills Academy

  • This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will be subject to satisfactory clearance of this check.
  • If this position is classed as Regulated Activity, it is subject to an Adult & Child barring check.
